Collaboration

Sometimes messages about equality and masculinity don't really sink in until a man says them — or it comes from a man's story, experience, or perspective. For this reason, I am excited to partner with the following friends and experts for co-facilitated events.

Along with their professional work, the below seven men are also all fathers and husbands — and honestly, they're just good guys. None of these men are pretending to be someone they are not; they're honest, genuine, funny, and kind. I trust them all, I am proud to call them my friends, and privileged to collaborate with them.

  • A few years ago, Brian Page found himself googling "how to be a better husband" and is now the founder and Director of Modern Husbands, an organization devoted to teamwork at home; helping couples better understand how to work together to manage money, the home, and as caregivers to raise their family. (Atlanta)

  • The founder of TeamsofMen, Kip Ioane is dedicated to creating teams full of empathy, compassion, and emotional fluency. With over 20 years of experience as an NCAA collegiate hoops coach, Kip brings sport expertise and experience into life lessons that apply to everyone, re-imagining what it means to be a man. (Oregon)

  • Emiliano Diaz de Leon is a men's engagement specialist with two decades of experience doing sexual violence prevention. He strives to be a role model for his son and other men working to heal and end cycles of violence. He is an expert facilitator who is not shy about tackling hard topics around gender. (Texas)

  • Ed Frauenheim is all about reinventing masculinity, organizations and society. He has co-authored four books and is a seasoned speaker who has studied workplace culture for more than two decades. (California)

  • In 2019, Keegan Albaugh founded the non-profit organization Dad Guild when he couldn't find resources he was looking for when he was a new dad. Now Dad Guild supports over 1500 dads in areas such as empathy development, engaged fatherhood and gender equality. (Vermont)

  • Dedicated to ending violence, Jeff Matsushita is an expert facilitator who has worked with collegiate and professional athletes, military, and law enforcement officers to find ways that men can show up for our communities in healthy ways. (Idaho)

  • Joe Vess lives in the Appalachian mountains and wears many hats. Sometimes he is designing masculinities programs for corporate audiences, sometimes he is working with incarcerated men on non-violent fatherhood, and sometimes he is working his farm with his wife. (Virginia)
